Review, verify and manage every shared assistant, workflow and project
Once many assistants, workflows and projects are shared across the workspace, it's easy to lose track. The Governance page collects every shared resource in one place so you can review and manage them.
You find it under Settings → Governance. It is only visible to workspace admins and must be enabled for your workspace.
Note
If Governance isn't enabled, you won't see the menu item. Contact meinGPT to turn it on.
Three tabs separate Assistants, Workflows and Projects. Only shared resources are listed — private ones don't show up.
Each row shows the owner, who it's shared with, the review status, how often the resource is used and when it was last used. Use the search to find a resource by name or owner. The filters at the top narrow the list to pending, reviewed or verified resources — or ones without an owner and unused ones.
You set the status with the Mark as reviewed, Verify or Set to pending buttons. You can also select several rows at once.
Verified resources get a seal next to their name — on assistant cards, in chat and on projects and workflows. For everyone using the resource it means: reviewed and approved by an admin. Turn Governance off and the seal disappears again.
Before you verify, you can open a resource and see what it brings along: connectors, capabilities, data sources, tables, the model it uses and, for assistants, the full system prompt. In the same dialog you also manage who has access.
Orphaned — the owner has left the workspace. These resources keep running, but nobody maintains them anymore. Transfer them to an active person (see below).
Stale — nobody has opened the resource for more than 90 days. A good candidate to transfer or retire.
Every resource has exactly one owner. If that person leaves the workspace or someone else should take over, you transfer ownership right on the Governance page — the same way for assistants, workflows and projects.
Filter to orphaned resources
Use the Orphaned filter to show the affected resources.
Open the resource
Click the entry and switch to the Administrators tab in the detail dialog.
Change owner
Click Change owner.
Pick the new person and confirm
Select a workspace member — a single person, never a team — and confirm the transfer. The chosen person becomes the owner. The previous owner keeps their admin rights as long as they stay in the workspace.
The transfer is recorded in the audit log as a high-impact event.
