Our story

From a school competition to an AI platform

  1. 2016It starts at „Jugend forscht“Florian, Matthias and Stephan build „Stand-Bye!“ – software that saves electricity. Their first code together.
  2. 2017SelectCode is foundedWith Reiner Conrad on board, the project becomes a company. The first app projects follow.
  3. 2019–2023From project to agencyFirst office, a team of students, real customers: we build custom software for the Mittelstand and start-ups.
  4. Oct 2023meinGPT goes liveThe agency becomes a product company: meinGPT bundles every AI solution on one secure platform.
  5. 2025We scaleFirst full-time hires, new departments, a dream office. Every step self-funded – no external investors.

SelectCode was founded in Munich in 2017 and builds custom software for the Mittelstand and start-ups. meinGPT grew out of that work in October 2023.
