For Partners: Supporting Customers

As a MeinGPT partner, create customer workspaces, link existing customers, grant access to your team and register leads

This page is for MeinGPT partner companies – for example consultancies or IT service providers that support customers in introducing and running MeinGPT. How your customers see and control partner access on their side is described in Partners in Your Workspace.

Becoming a partner

Application and contract

You apply to MeinGPT as a partner and sign a partner contract. The contract sets the contract type, for example referral or solution partner.

Activation by MeinGPT

MeinGPT activates your company's workspace as a partner. This gives you a partner code and access to the partner area.

Service qualification

Only solution partners that MeinGPT has marked as service-qualified can create customer workspaces, link customers and work in customer workspaces. Lead registration and referral links are open to all active partners.

The partner area

The partner area belongs to your own company's workspace. All members of this workspace can see it; only its admins may create customers, request or confirm links and manage access for the team.

In the partner area you find:

  • Your partner profile – contract type, tier, status, partner code and how many open trials you are using and may create.
  • Your customers – all linked customers and all customers who came through you.
  • Leads – your registered leads with status and protection period.
  • Referrals – your referral links and commissions.

Creating a new customer

For a company that doesn't use MeinGPT yet, you create the workspace yourself and prepare it.

Create the workspace

Enter the company name, optionally the email domain, and the email address of the customer's future first admin. You can send the invitation to this person right away or later. Every newly created customer counts against your quota of open trials.

Set up

The workspace starts in the In setup status with an extended trial. You automatically get access with administrator rights until setup ends. Inviting members, uploading knowledge, connecting connectors, enabling tools and setting up Outposts are blocked in this phase – the customer does that.

Handover

The customer takes over the workspace when the invited person accepts the invitation. They become workspace admin; you and your team keep your access, but only with the rights of the Partner role that the customer sets. The handover starts the customer's trial: 4 weeks for up to 25 users.

Attention

Setup is limited to 30 days. If the customer doesn't accept the invitation by then, the link ends, all of your team's access is ended and open invitations are deleted.

You can't create a new workspace if the domain is already verified by another workspace or the admin email address already belongs to a workspace. In that case the customer already uses MeinGPT – request a link instead.

Linking existing customers

For customers who already have a workspace, there are two ways. In both, you choose a role: Customer lead (at most one partner per customer) or Implementation.

  • You request. You enter the customer's workspace ID or the email address of one of its admins and can add a message. The customer's admins are notified by email and accept or decline.
  • The customer invites you. You give the customer your partner code. A customer admin invites you with it; your admins get an email and confirm the invitation in the partner area.

Requests and invitations are valid for 14 days. If a customer declines your request, you can only request again after 30 days.

Access for your team

No access is permanent: for every linked customer, you grant individual people from your company time-limited access. In the partner area, as an admin you can, per customer:

  • Grant access – to members of your own workspace. Without an end date, the longest allowed duration applies, by default 90 days; during setup at most until setup ends.
  • Extend access – within the same limit.
  • Revoke access – effective immediately.

The customer's admins get an email for every new access. The customer can revoke any access, turn off partner access or end the partnership at any time.

Your people sign in with your company's login. Accessing customer workspaces requires a sign-in with two-factor authentication. Partner people don't take up seats at the customer.

Registering leads

With a lead registration, you report a company you want to win for MeinGPT and secure the contact.

Report a lead

Enter the company name, plus optionally the domain, contact person, email address and a note. If the same domain is already reported or protected by another partner, the registration is rejected.

Decision within 5 working days

MeinGPT accepts the lead within 5 working days (Monday to Friday) or declines it with a reason. If there is no decision by then, the lead is accepted automatically; your admins get an email about it.

6 months of protection

An accepted lead is protected for you for 6 months from acceptance. If you create a customer workspace for the same domain during that time, the lead is automatically assigned to your customer.

As long as a lead is reported or protected, you can withdraw it at any time.

The partner area embeds a referral dashboard from Dub. There you create referral links and see the commissions they generate. When a new customer signs up through your link, they are attributed to you as a referral and appear in your customer list. A referral doesn't give you access to the customer's workspace – that needs a link.

What you see about your customers

In your customer list you only see summary figures per customer:

  • company name, role and status of the link
  • phase (for example trial) with end date, or the end of setup
  • number of licensed users and the maximum number of users
  • how many licensed users were active in the last 30 days
  • whether you currently have access yourself and until when

You don't see private chats, private assistants, unshared content or individual people's activity – neither in the list nor when you work in the customer workspace. There you only see what the customer allows the Partner role and shares with you.
