Integrating AI into your own software usually means juggling multiple provider accounts, keys and bills. The meinGPT API bundles leading LLMs behind one OpenAI-compatible endpoint: one API key, one interface, central governance – hosted in the EU.
Call chat completions through familiar endpoints
The /openai/v1/chat/completions endpoint is compatible with OpenAI's Chat Completions API. You pass model and messages, optionally response_format, temperature and stream – and can point existing OpenAI-compatible clients straight at meinGPT.

Generate embeddings for search and retrieval
Through /openai/v1/embeddings you create embedding vectors that represent your input text – compatible with OpenAI's Embeddings API. Build semantic search, retrieval and similarity comparisons into your own applications.

Query the available models via /models/v1 and use the id as the model name in your requests. For speech to text, transcribe audio and video files through the transcription endpoint – by file upload or URL.

The meinGPT API gives you programmatic access to leading LLMs behind a single, OpenAI-compatible interface – authenticated, GDPR compliant and hosted in the EU.
Authentication via API keyCreate an API key under “Integration” in your meinGPT settings and use it as a bearer token in the Authorization header. Connect any application securely – without separate accounts per model.
Platform features in the APIBeyond LLM responses and embeddings, platform capabilities like assistants and workflows are also available programmatically. Build on the same building blocks your team already uses inside meinGPT.
Hosted in the EUThe API runs on a gateway that is hosted in the EU and ISO 27001 certified. Your requests and data stay in a GDPR-compliant environment – with central visibility into usage.
