Google Drive

Connect Google Drive directly in meinGPT — via Google sign-in, no cloud project of your own

Set up in meinGPT

Open Settings → Data sources, click Add data source, and choose Google Drive.

Sign in with Google

meinGPT opens a Google sign-in window through its own, already-registered meinGPT application — you don't need a Google Cloud project of your own, and nothing to enable. It asks for read access to Google Drive only.

Pick a folder

After sign-in, meinGPT shows a folder picker rooted at My Drive — folders in shared drives appear inside it too. Pick the folder meinGPT should make searchable.

Connect

meinGPT saves the connection and starts the first sync.

Google Drive runs as a Cloud data source; it needs no Outpost of your own, and this source type is not available for on-premise Outpost deployments.

Synchronization

  • meinGPT reads the chosen folder, including subfolders.
  • Later runs only process changed files.
  • To pick a different folder or scope, reconnect the source.
