Connect Linear to meinGPT
Search, create and update Linear issues and use current project context from an assistant.
Linear connects to meinGPT through its official MCP server. An assistant can search current issues and projects, create work items and update existing records within the permissions of the connected Linear account.
Enable Linear as a tool and authorize the connection on first use. For concrete tasks, the assistant retrieves live Linear data before it answers or performs an action. Existing workspace permissions remain the access boundary.

What the integration makes possible
01
Search issues
Find assigned, urgent or blocked issues and summarize their status.
02
Create work items
Turn an approved brief or meeting result into a structured Linear issue.
03
Update project work
Change status, priority or assignment on an existing issue.
Review the prompt and result openly
List my urgent open issues and summarize the next action for each one.
Result
Three urgent issues are open. LIN-42 needs a review, LIN-51 is blocked by an API decision, and LIN-57 needs reproduction steps.
Does this connection fit your use case?
We clarify the source, permissions, and connection required for the concrete use case. If the existing integration fits, you can move straight to setup afterwards.
Security and operations
The connection uses OAuth and can be revoked. Share assistants deliberately and require review before broad write access is enabled.
Known limitations
- 01Available data and actions depend on Linear workspace permissions and the tools exposed by the MCP server.
