Image models have two relevant layers: the maker (who trained the model) and the hosting provider (who runs it operationally). This table is the reference for compliance decisions.

EU-only: All FLUX models, GPT Image 2, and Gemini 2.5 Flash Image run exclusively in EU regions.
Maker ≠ host: FLUX.2 Pro and FLUX.2 Flex come from Black Forest Labs but run through our Microsoft Azure tenant (France). The other FLUX models run directly at Black Forest Labs.
GPT Image 2 is the only OpenAI image model with EU hosting. The other GPT Image variants run Global. All GPT Image models are served via Microsoft Azure.
Global: Models in this region may be processed in different regions depending on provider load.
