Research is the dedicated workspace for current, source-backed research. You ask a question, the app develops suitable search queries, and it builds an answer from the pages it finds with links to the sources. Previous research remains available in a searchable history.
Use regular research for a quick assessment. With , the same task is handled as a multi-step investigation. You can also include a specific URL in the question so the page is read and evaluated. Paywalls, sign-in pages, and content loaded only on the client can limit access.
Regular web search considers up to ten sources per query by default, not the entire internet. Important figures and claims should therefore be checked against the linked original source. The same web search is available in AI Chat, assistants, and individual workflow steps.
