Browser usage requirements (Cloud & on-Premise)
To use meinGPT, all you need is a current browser. The following are supported:

Internet Explorer is not supported. Support for other Chromium-based browsers cannot be guaranteed. Additional browser plugins are not required.

Hosting
Since meinGPT is provided as a Docker image, there are no specific requirements for the server infrastructure. A meinGPT container can be started on any operating system that can run Docker. Serverless container environments such as Azure Container Apps can also be used.
To use SSL/TLS with meinGPT, a reverse proxy or load balancer that manages HTTPS certificates is also required to terminate the traffic and forward the requests to the meinGPT container.
Postgres
A Postgres database version 15.0 or newer is required to store all data and settings.
Network
All HTTP traffic with the meinGPT container is routed through a single, configurable port (default port: 4000). This must be appropriately allowed in the firewall or linked with the reverse proxy.
In addition, the container must be able to establish connections to the outside in order to utilize all the platform's functions:

The database server should have at least 4 GB of RAM and 2 CPU cores; depending on the number of users, the requirements may be higher. Additionally, the database server should have at least 10 MB of disk space per user per year.
